Here Chicky-Chicky!

On Saturday we went to our friends to butcher our 25 chickens... it was our first time and it was quite the experience!

Our freezer is now full of chopped and whole chickens... yummy, yummy.  You are welcome to come over anytime for supper.

I'm sure it's delicious, but the whole process getting there isn't exactly my cup of tea. :-D I prefer to buy my meat all ready to go! Sounds like ya'll had fun, though! :-)

Ooh fun!!! My little bro is showing 2 hogs @ the county fair this year. One gets sold to the market and then my fav. one, John Boy, will more than likely be the one to be sent to our butcher...I'm trying not to get really attatched! Olivia

Aw...the memories:)) It was fun just working together...I'm glad we did it last Sat instead of today!~! Its so muggy out,we actually turned our air on.
